Applicants for membership must agree to the following stated Association principles:

To form an organization dedicated to promoting firearms shows where firearms, accessories, and related items can be bought, sold, traded, and displayed and to encourage activities that foster a positive public perception of such shows.  

To support members in their efforts to produce quality shows and to encourage the legal, safe, and ethical trading and use of firearms and related items.  

To develop a membership network to encourage involvement in the education of the general public, show participants, federal, state and local lawmakers, and the media about firearms issues and legislation that affect our industry.

All applicants must read and sign page 2 of this application which lists all mandatory rules and regulations a show producer must enforce without limit at all shows he or she produces.  Applicant's signature indicates his or her agreement to be bound by these rules.  Continued membership in the Association is contingent upon following the mandatory rules detailed on page two.  If the Association receives credible information that a member is not adhering to these rules, the Association reserves the right to investigate any such allegation, and, upon finding the allegation to be true and accurate, the Association may revoke the offender's membership for non-compliance.  A member may appeal this revocation within thirty days of notice of revocation.  Any appeal must be accompanied by clear and convincing evidence refuting the allegations that led to revocation.

In addition to the mandatory rules, suggested rules are also listed on page 2; the Association recommends that the applicant, for safety and other reasons detailed in those rules, apply these suggested rules wherever possible.

The applicant understands and agrees that this application is submitted to the Association and is intended to induce the Association to accept the applicant as a member in the Association.  The applicant further understands and agrees that this application is subject to review by the Association, and that no membership relationship exists until formal written acknowledgment is made to the applicant by the Association that the applicant's application has been accepted.  Finally, the applicant understands and agrees that, should the application not be accepted, the Association's response need only be return of the applicant's fees.
